New Year, New You… Still Loves a Good Snack 🥒✨
January always comes with big promises. We’re eating better. We’re moving more. We’re totally becoming our best selves. But let’s be real—if “healthy eating” means bland food and joyless snacking, it’s not going to last past the second week.
That’s why we believe the New Year should be about better choices, not boring ones. And yes, that absolutely includes snacks.
Healthy Eating, the Crooked Pickle Way
Eating well doesn’t mean cutting out everything you love. It means finding foods that make you feel good and taste great. The kind of food you actually look forward to eating.
That’s where our Salty Dill Pickles come in.
Why We’re Obsessed with Our Salty Dill Pickles
We made these pickles for people who love big flavour but don’t want hidden nonsense in their food.
🥒 No added sugar – because you don’t need it
🥒 Low in calories – snack away
🥒 Full-on salty, tangy crunch – never boring
🥒 Easy to grab and go – straight from the jar
🥒 Ridiculously moreish – consider yourself warned
They’re proof that eating healthier doesn’t mean sacrificing flavour. In fact, we’d argue they make healthy eating far more exciting.
A Simple, Healthy Recipe: Dill Pickle Chickpea Smash
Perfect for lunch, meal prep, or when you’re hovering near the fridge “just for a snack”.
You’ll need:
-
1 tin of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
-
3–4 of our Salty Dill Pickles, finely chopped
-
1 tbsp olive oil
-
1 tsp Dijon mustard
-
Black pepper, to taste
-
Optional: fresh dill or parsley
How to make it:
-
Lightly mash the chickpeas in a bowl.
-
Stir in the chopped pickles.
-
Add olive oil, Dijon and black pepper.
-
Mix well and enjoy on toast, in a wrap, or straight from the bowl (we won’t judge).
Crunchy, filling, tangy and fresh—exactly how healthy food should be.
New Year, New You (Same Love for Flavour)
We’re not here for perfection. We’re here for small changes that stick. Smarter snacking. Better ingredients. Food that makes you feel good and makes you smile.
This year, don’t give up flavour.
Just pickle better.
