Our Green Commitments
As a Plastic Free Champion we are committed to reducing and ultimately eradicating the use of plastics in our business.
Our pickles are packaged in glass jars with aluminium lids. We ship them in cardboard made from sustainable materials and use a paper-based tape. We use cardboard and corn starch based filler to protect our pickles during shipping. These measures ensure that our packaging is 100% recyclable.
The only plastic currently used in our business is our pallet wrap. As we wrap by hand we are unable to source an eco-version that is suitable for hand-wrapping. We are working on changing this.
We have taken further measures to lowering our carbon-emissions by swapping our diesel guzzler to a fully electric van.
